They call her Lyrix The Truth, spitting lyrics and diminishing the booth is her motto, simply put. This young 22 year old lyricist is originally from New Jersey but was raised in Florida. She refers to her style as Nothern street with a Southern twist. Lyrix The Truth is known for her gritty and creative wordplay. As she would say it "Words are her specialty". Reciting musical poetry has been her specialty since the age of 12 writing from inspirations such as KRS ONE, Nas, Big L, Foxy Brown, Black Thought, and others. "Our words are our biggest assest" she says "We use words to speak everyday, express everyday, and even in our own quiet minds, so why not use them to recite something that millions can hear, something millions can relate to". Lyrix The Truth is the future of modern day hip hop. Bringing charisma, passion , and character back to the culture we all love. "I've had this dream since I was 12, I have been through the ups and downs, seen the pros and the cons, I even thought I lost the passion for it." she says, "I asked myself how can you lose the passion for something you've been immune to for over 10 years? I don't even know. Maybe that's why I keep coming back, I'm still here right?
