My musical projects have been a work-in-progress for many years (since probably around 1996). One day I decided it would be cool to have different projects. In the beginning, I started 2 projects. Beast and Despair. Despair became Oblivion Winters. Steadily over the years my projects have grown to number to over 50. I started out recording songs with an alarm clock radio and have progressed to the almighty DAW.Have you performed in front of an audience?I've never played live and I'm not sure if I ever will honestly. Perhaps one day I will if I feel like it. The closest I have come to playing live was in a friends garage with like 15 people standing around.
Your musical influences
There are far too many that have influenced me in the past and present to list here. My main musical influences are probably King Diamond, Mercyful Fate and Amorphis. Amorphis and My Dying Bride introduced the concept of using lead patterns, which are prevalent in much of my music. My lead guitar style was heavily influenced early on by Michael Denner and Chuck Schuldiner. I think it would be safe to say that every breath I have ever taken on this planet has influenced my music. I live to create. I don't want to be a rockstar, don't want to tour the world. I just want to keep creating, give myself and others something new to listen to and to hopefully be worthy of the gifts of the grand muse.What equipment do you use?
