Within the Disconnect Within the Disconnect

Haven't written anything new in a while so I started on this a couple days ago. Might expand on it at some point!

This one is more straightforward and melodic in places, that was my original goal but ended up throwing some heavier parts in. Vocals on this eventually for sure!

Threw this together for fun in a few hours a while back, nothing too serious! Planned to record the vocals but never got around to it, used the original ones.

Progressive Rock

Melodic female-driven progressive hard rock. If you dig it, you can download our free EP on our myspace (check the blog)!
Band/artist history
Instrumental guitar bedroom recordings that were slowly turned into an actual band, adding members one by one. I ended up between bands at one point in 2009 and met a drummer that shared a similar vision musically so we decided to give this project a shot.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Currently around the Jacksonville, FL area and beyond!
Your musical influences
Lots of stuff. I tend to gravitate toward the progressive side of things, or anybody who is extremely creative with what they do. Stuff like Rush, Dream Theater, Pain of Salvation, Coheed, SikTh, Periphery, The Dear Hunter, Porcupine Tree, Cynic... Guitarist wise I'd say Gilbert, Jeff Kollman, Satriani, Petrucci and Eklundh are the ones who have influenced and/or inspired me the most.
What equipment do you use?
For recording: JS1000 - podxt Superior 2.0 Cubase as my main DAW FL studio for programming drums/synths Steinberg Hypersonic iZotope Ozone 4 For live playing: Guitar - Rivera Thirty-Twelve - Mesa 4x12
Anything else?
