I am the newest, freshest 'mash up' artist. I have a natural 'ear' for music since I was born. Very innovative, creative, unique and most importantly the HOTTEST re-mixer in chi-city, no doubt. I am an also an awesome rock guitarist that nobody has ever heard b4. very experimental and progressive. and i make hilarious acoustic covers of today's huge hits such as soulja boy tellem, and mrs. officer by lil wayne. check out my youtube. www.youtube.com/loofslawBand/artist history
born in st. lukes in Chicago. i moved to glenview at the age of 4. my dad had a huge collection of classical music, i listen to a lot of it, until the music was burnt into my mind. my dad saw that i was memorizing the music, so he sent me to cello lessons. i was really bright in music as a child, even though i hated reading notes, i was pretty good all together. i listened to a lot of hip hop as a child cuz thats all my bro listened to. then in 7th grade i called it quits and picked up a guitar, theres no better instrument i think. in high school i listened to a lot of rock such as 311, incubus, red hot chili peppers and rage against the machine. jr year of high school, i started messing around with acid pro. i made about 7 songs with just my guitar and sum drum tracks. my peers loved it. in college i discovered awesome bands such as muse, queens of the stone age, mars volta, and the battles, that gave me a progressive mindset. which made me wanna go back to the roots of rock and roll. so i went backwards in time and found led zeppelin, black sabbath, the beatles, rolling stones, funkadelic, and many more. i pretty much mapped out all of rock n roll. from the bluesy roots, to the punk rock riffs, to the face melting metal solos, to the grunge attitude. during the last year, ive been changing it up a bit. i noticed i have a really good ear and musical memory. so i have been make remixes and mash ups which i think takes talent. to hear one beat and put another song to it. so thats what ive been up to. so check out my sheeit...Have you performed in front of an audience?I live in chitown, most inspiring moments are at Lollapalooza.. best shows i saw were, matisyahu, queens of the stone age, red hot chili peppers, slightly stoopid, g. love, MIA, the black keys, daft punk, muse, iggy and the stooges, modest mouse, pearl jam, the battles, the toadies and rage against the machine...
