Band/artist history
I've been in bands before and I've also sang jazz for a living in New York, Reno, Lake Tahoe, and Truckee, CA. It was a lot of fun and I got to meet AMAZING musicians that taught me so much. I now sing Jazz in L.A. locally with various trios. I am in two other bands. I play my original music with my band, Flourish. We always get a great response to our music! It's fun, heartfelt, joyous, makes you feel good and makes you move. That's the intention and we always seem to deliver. The other band is called, Peace Love and Understanding and we perform covers from the 70s that rekindle a powerful movement that was happening then with the shift in consciousness that is happening now. These songs are truly timeless. Like "Aquarius", for instance. It's so perfect for now, isn't it. We do have new arrangements so it keeps it fresh for younger people to discover. I really love to collaborate and create with others! It's my favorite.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes. I play all over L.A. and the greater area. Sometimes I play in Ojai. I'll always let you know. Yes, of course I love it! Every experience has been special in it's own way.

Straight ahead Jazz, from Chet Baker to Blossom Dearie to Ella and Billie and Sarah and Joe williams, and Miles and coltraine... you get it. Also: Joni Mitchell, Portishead, morcheeba, radiohead, the controls, massive attack, susanne vega, bjork, nathalie merchant, tracy chapman, neil young, bob dylan, bob marley, Van Morrison, Rickie Lee Jones and so MANY more...
