I've been writing poetry as long as I can remember. My first real song came together for me in 2000, when I was going through some very difficult times. It was several years later, before I was able to play my own music for the things I had written. I am very thankful for it, and it changed my life. I knew music, taught basics to my kids, could tell them what I wanted them to play (for my songs), but I couldn't do it with my own hands! Now, I play the piano for my church, and really enjoy it! I hope to record all of my songs some day...
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Basically, only for my church or my friends. I enjoy sharing with people, but I don't aspire to be a performer.
Your musical influences
Everything is an influence, but some of my favorite artists are Amos Lee, Sarah McLachlan, John Mayer, Train, Ingrid Michaelson, Greg Holden, and recently I've been listening to a lot of Joni Mitchell.
What equipment do you use?
My mini baby grand piano, and just started learning guitar since my son bought a semi-hollow Ibanez guitar for me for Christmas!

Everytime I listen to 'All of my Heart' it gets better and better! I love the mixes with the harmony and added instruments. It's just me, but I think it could still be a better song than you ever thought it could be! I can't pinpoint exactly what it is, I just feel like there is something missing and when you figure out what that is, it will be what takes it over the top. I know you will be lead to what ever it is. LU Aunt T
