Marwan Mohamed Hamdy known as Lefty-m (born September 22 , 1989 in Cairo, Egypt) study in the faculty of Information System, he is a left handed person so he hold the Mick by his left hand, that's why he considered the nickname Lefty-m an expressive nickname that it expresses a part of him not like other rappers who have meaningless nicknames. Moreover he loves rap because through it he could express his feelings, represent his country and share people in joys and grief. Arabic rap was his choice because it presents his loyalty to his country also to him Rap is the easiest way to convey message of what happening around , He is trying to mix between East and West music to give a new music style by the help of his Deejay and music producer Hesham Watany (Carbon).
Some of the Egyptians got used to oriental music and they aren't able to accept any new genre of music as house, hip-hop and rock,etc., but the new generation was able to understand this genre and loved it, Moreover he always trying to make songs which all people can accept it and make them able to understand it '' Arabic rap''.
He has Been Listening to Rap since long Time; firstly he had many trials in this field which is writing lyrics and idioms. starting in 2007, his first Song was in 10th of July 2008; then after a great effort he released His First album " T7T EL TORAB " in 9th of March 2009 via internet, Besides he has some singles.
2010 is considered the year of success to Lefty-m he begin making promos for Nogoum FM to Mixology and Agmad 7 El sa3a 7 Radio programs.
Finally, I hope my songs meet your expectations and to be representing my country in a good way Insha'Allah.
