Hello I'm Lauren Lindsay AKA Dj Empath . I write, record and produce Rap, Hip Hop, R&B, House/techno, and Christian music genre.
Band/artist history
I have always liked writing but never really made anything out of it until about a year ago when I started writing, recording and producing my won music. I got sick of hearing all of the new commercialized and repetitive music they have been making recently. So I decided to start making new music that would deliver a message. Music that really has meaning. Also I make house music for fun in my spare time. I don't really listen to techno/house but I have an ear for sound so the ones who do listen to it , like it.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
No I don't play live. I don't make money with my music. You can download it free on soundcloud. I just make music for fun and share it with the world in hopes that someone will have the message hit home.
Your musical influences
Biggest influence growing up was Aerosmith. I love Steven Tyler's vocal ability and Joe Perry's bad ass guitar.
What equipment do you use?
Lap Top. LOL you don't need equipment if you know what you're doing. I am just good at figuring out everything in general. Like MacGyver LOL.
