Walking through the doors that Lil Kim, Eve, and Missy Elliot opened for her, the new female rap sensation, 21-year old LaurenAsh is taking the world by storm. Her sex appeal and powerful lyrics bring forth a dynamic deliverance that hides behind her “million-dollar smile”. The discovery of her lyrical skills surfaced after mimicking rhymes from the Infamous Biggie’s “One More Chance”. Being overheard by her older brother at the age of 13, he pushed Lauren A. Stephenson to develop her new found talent.

Enrolling into the University of Akron and earning a full basketball scholarship placed her love for music to the side. Trying to maintain her hectic schedule of class and practice placed a toll on the young star. She knew that something was missing in her life; music. She continued to write while traveling to away games and spent her free weekends in the studio. LaurenAsh’s life experiences flowed through the ballpoint of her pen and bless the lines of notebook paper. Her hungriness increased as the passion for basketball began to descend. She is now solely focused on making it and getting her message to the world.
Over the last two years, LaurenAsh has created a name for herself within her hometown of Columbus, OH, performing at her first show in 2006 at the Juneteenth Festival insured her that this was truly the life she wanted. Traveling around the city performing at local clubs was just the start for the rising star. With the help of Galileo Entertainment’s CEO, Tay-G, LaurenAsh was able to open up for Lil Wayne and Gucci Mane. The eagerness to get in the game set fire to the blood running through her veins. She immediately got back in the studio and began working on her demo.
With her chameleon style, the “long haired” model type blended with a rocker edge, LaurenAsh is traveling the path of success within the music industry. The lyricist is eager to flood sound waves worldwide with the electricity running through her message.All comments (1)
