L. Michelle
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
L. Michelle is a singer/songwriter who has a strong commitment to her original material. L. delivers a show that leaves any audience addicted to her music and wanting more. Without a doubt, you will be singing L.’s songs for days. An even mixture of pop and rock, she keeps each performance fresh and leans toward the unexpected on stage.
Born in Royal Oak, Michigan, her family relocated to Danville, CA. where she spent her childhood studying music. L. Michelle dedicates all her hard work to her father, who, after being sick for nearly her entire life, passed away when she was 15 years old. Her dad encouraged her to follow her dream and she has with a passion.
L. Michelle is quickly rising to the top of the rock scene in Los Angeles. This past year she caught the eye of the Whisky A Go-Go and is their continued choice to headline their “Women in Rock” shows. With a smirk and a wink she leads her band to a tight show. L. rocks and takes her audience on a fun ride.
L. Michelle is currently recording her debut album with producer Randy Emata (Lou Reed, Chaka Khan) and vocal producer David Coury.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, I do play live. Currently my band and I can be seen playing around the Southern CA area. I do really enjoy it. I love playing off of my band members. It's extremely obvious that we all have a lot of fun together and really get along.
