In 1999 I met M. Cleighton and we began composing hip hop and electronica tracks on a program using pre made loops. After a few years we started looking for programs that would let us spread our wings. Loops limited us in the aspect of melodic progression. We then found Reason in mid 2002. Since then we have been experimenting with sounds and mixture of genres to stand apart from the "norm". In early 2005 we started to work solo in our respective genres. Although we each don't only compose one genre we each have a genre we can relate to easier than the rest. As of late we have begun getting back in the studio together to collab. I speak for both of us when I say, when we collaborate our work is better. We can work off of each other very easily. As in all relationships both personal and professional we disagree sometimes but we ALWAYS get passed it and finish our projects. To do good collab work I believe all parties involved should be open minded yet opinionated. That is why I think Cleighton and I do good collab work we both think outside the box and express our opinions freely,. Eventually we meet in the middle, that to me is the bottom line.
