Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've been doin' this since I was thirteen. We just started taking it serious as in making it into a business. We now write all the music, make all the beats, do our own album covers(new one coming for the album), websites(coming soon), and videos(DIP Productions, Jimmy what's good?). So look out for anything connected to the label name The Hollowbrook Group.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not yet. We are promoting the music over the internet first. We are taking that route to get the word out and then we are going to see where people out there want us to come.
Your musical influences
Reality influences me first and foremost. I like to have fun and be imaginative with it but, on certain issues I like to bring straight reality. God for making that reality and making life worth living. My moms, pop, and my sister, the whole family. Music wise I feel if you can make somebody dance or make them relate to your song, you got what it takes. Don't forget music is made to dance to ya'll.
What equipment do you use?
The triton, phantom, mpc, mac computers, blue micraphones and we mix in a lot of keyboards and beat making equiptment that a lot of producers wont use. We even bring live drums and instruments to the beats, you know, step outside of the box always.
Anything else?
If you listen to my music closely, you see that every song is a classic. No lazy lyrics and no flat beats. So what's good New Jersey? What's good planet earth? You ready to hear the true future of the game? Let's do it!!!!
