Not much of a band really. Usually just me, the computer, a host of instruments, sometimes a few cold beers and some spare time when I can get it.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not playing live at this time. Would like to but there is only one of me to play everything.
Your musical influences
My influences are too numerous to mention. I guess a few would include: Pink Floyd, Joe Cocker, Chris Rea, The Donnas, ACDC (with Bon Scott), Eric Clapton, Aerosmith, Stevie Ray, ZZ Top, Lowell Fulsom, Ray Charles and the list goes on.
What equipment do you use?
I currently have about 30 guitars of different makes and vintages. I always have one project instrument on the go - keeps me out of trouble. Some of these were purchased and others were rescued and re-built by me. I have a few old Traynor amps, a Laney Linebacker, a Yamaha VX65D, an old Sonax amp, a old Peavey Envoy, a couple of Traynor bass amps and a Crate BT50 amplifier. I also have a Yamaha YPT-200 keyboard and for effects there is a host of multi-effect and stomp boxes to make it all go down. All this is picked up by a couple of old no name microphones that go into my broken down old no-name computer running Mixcraft. No gimicks and no fancy software to correct my mistakes (they add character to the song).
