I have played in a few bands and a duo. Tired of the same old thing I took a break. I use to run a jam with a friend at a country hotel, Carolyne came along, I met Wendy through Carolyne. One night at my sisters jam I got up to sing a Hank Williams song and asked the girls if they would join me. The harmonies were there. I thought I need to do something with this and asked them to come along to a gig I was doing on my own, from there, I booked us a few gigs, borrowed equipment and then later bought myself second hand equipment so that we could keep going, have updated since. We have been together since 2001, have come in at number five on the 'John Laws' contest and went on to Australia's Got Talent and made it into the semi finals.Have you performed in front of an audience?Clubs, pubs, charities, concerts, birthdays, weddings.
Your musical influences
All types, personally I love country, old country, some of the new but mainly old, rockabilly, hillbilly, rock'n'roll, swing, just about all. Beatles, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Creedence, Elvis, Connie Francis, Brenda Lee, Jackie Wilson, too many to name.What equipment do you use?
Amplifier, speakers 450 each side, guitar.Anything else?
I also play a few gigs with my partner Mike Casey, bass player, singer.
