Born, Kenneth G. Williams II, the Texas native began making beats in 1998. Williams joined the U.S. Air Force in 2003 and was sent to Pisa, Italy. During his off time, he worked for a local record company that produced house/minimalist music. In 2004, Williams was tapped to write verses for European pop singer Sara Cruz who, soon after, signed a deal with Sony ATV. By late 2005, Kenny formed a working relationship with multi-platinum engineer Maurizio IRKO Sera. Williams talent for production has received praise from many over the years to include rappers Q-Tip, Game, E-40 and others. From 2007-2009, Dubb worked with a handful of independent artist in Japan. All of his artist routinely opened for major American acts that performed in Tokyo and Okinawa to include; Game, E-40, Soulja Boy, Donnis, Hurricane Chris and others. In 2010, Kenny Williams and entrepreneur Kenjuan Simon founded their record label Outta Step, LLC. Dubb secured Flint, Michigan rapper Amos as the small label's first signee. Kenny later began directing and editing music videos out of necessity due to limited budgets. His first video was Amos' street banger "Get Busy" ?which received over 1000 views in 72 hours on YouTube. Williams is now the driving force behind the Outta Step brand name and is currently the head of production and president. His influences include; Stevie Wonder, J Dilla, Pharrell Williams, Timbaland, and Kanye West.
