Katrina Webster
I was born in a family of 8 kids. My mum started singing country at 50 and encouraged us to start singing while I was still at school. I have loved singing country since I was very young and I grew up listening to the greats of the country like Tammy Wynette, George Jones, Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, and many many more. The country has changed a bit over the years but still as great as ever with the new generations keeping country music alive.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I released my first album New Beginnings in 2016 with cover songs from my favourite singers. It was a new Beginning for me after some tough times and for me finally doing a recording had been one of my biggest dreams. Coming up in 2018 I will be recording my second album. Watch out for this coming soon
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have been singing in country music clubs for many years and competing in awards since 2000. My special memories have been every time I get to sing with my mum.
