Kaiser and the Machines of Creation - INTRASPECTION
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
2004 saw the rise of Kaiser and the Machines of Creation and to a new age of music for songwriter/guitarist Paul Kaiser. 2008 has seen the release of Intraspection the debut album of Kaiser and the Machines of Creation which was written, arranged and produced by Paul Kaiser.
For over 20 years Kaiser has earnt the reputation as one of South Australias most prominent rock/metal guitarists. Paul is largely recognised from the Australian Led Zeppelin shows Zep Boys guitarist from 91 98. Most recently the conceiver/manager and guitarist for the Australian G3 Show. Paul emulated the Yngwie Malmsteen portion of the show as his performance.
Between the years 2004 and 2007, Paul wrote, performed and managed a few projects involving essentially the same compliment of musicians. This eventually turned out to be the line up of the band that recorded the album.-Intraspection Peter Nikolic Keyboards, Regan Burgess Bass and Mitch Willson Drums, these guys are the nucleus of musicians that is the band. Paul sort the aid of talented musicians like: Jennifer Degrassis vocals on Black Memory with Rohan Powell in harmony with the lyrical writing assistance of Craig MacDonald on Tearing Down The Walls.
Currently Kaiser is chasing down publishers and recording companies for the album and is also writing and rehearsing with the band for the next album which at this stage is not named. Recording will start in December 08.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We rise from Adelaide in South Australia - Australia. There are not many gigs for us to play here and it just ends up costing with no advantage unfortunately. We love to play live!!!! We just have aproblem with being the wrong type of band in the wrong country in the wrong hemisphere. This however has not detered us from doing what we love, our passion is alot stronger than our disposition. That is - writing, rehearsing and recording.
Your musical influences
David Bowie, Al Dimeola, Steve Morse, Ritchie Blackmore, Yngwie Malmsteen, Toto, plus some..
