KW Idiots 08

I've been a member of SoundClick for over ten years, with three CDs covering my early years with The Roberts Brothers Band, a solo effort in 2001, and more recently, a live recording of The Swunk Brothers in 2006. This newest CD "Idiots With Mangos" contains original songs and parodies written twenty-five years ago when I was performing steadily as a soloist in West Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC. I generally reserved these oddball tunes for the third set when most of the audience was pretty well tanked, and well, would laugh at just about anything. I had a lot of fun with these songs, and finally decided to record them. I truly hope you enjoy them.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Please visit my music website, www.swunk.com
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I do perform solo, and with a loose federation of like-minded musicians around central and southern New Hampshire.
Your musical influences
I grew up near Chicago, and took a liking to big band jazz early on. I started performing contemporary folk-rock in the mid-70s. I ventured into blue grass, country, and swing with two bands in the early eighties, and returned to my jazz roots in the past ten years.
What equipment do you use?
I have a DeArmond x155 hollow body archtop.
Anything else?
I'm primarily a songwriter. A couple of my songs have been recorded by other indie artists. More informaiton is available on my music website, www.swunk.com
