Yo, I'm K.D., or just Kenny, a producer from Memphis, TN. I've been producing for a while, and am finally getting serious about producing. I make mostly hip hop, but sometimes lo-fi and others.
Your musical influences
My influences are mostly from game music, Its more melodic than most other genres of music. Games like the Mario Galaxy series, Ganbare Goemon (Mystical Ninja in U.S.), And other rpgs influenced me the most.
Producers like Will-A-Fool Zay, and others influence me as well
For producers, my influences are Zaytoven (of cource), Will-A-Fool, Metro, the whole of 808 Mafia, among others
What equipment do you use?
For DAWs, I use Studio One and Reason Rewired for sounds, an Akai MPK249, and an old MPK25 for midi
