I have been playing music since the age of 8. I play all the instruments on my recordings, I am a lot more concerned with sharing my music than with making money from it. I have a bedroom studio, I will leave it up to you if that's working out
I am from the very musical town of Flatwoods Ky, relatives include Billy Ray Cyrus and
Merle Travis. they call Flatwoods "Neon". "northeast of Nashville". I have played in country bands and recording sessions, I have a lot of respect for them. But from the time in my early childhood I heard Paul McCartney count down "wun, two, three fah!" Rock has been my music, the true soundtrack pf my mind. I got to see the Beatles on Ed Sullivan about 2 weeks before I heard the record, one of the high points of my lfe
I have played live in bands many times, I don't think I've ever played my stuff live, being as I am a one man band
I grew up playing and listening to the blues, harder stuff like John Lee Hooker and Howlin' Wolf, I am also a big fan of the Beatles. The only requirement for me is if I feel it, I like it
I record thru a dedicated rack of equipment, fed into a Tascam 2488 24 track recorder. I primarily use Gibson gutiars, DBX processors and anything else that I think will work
I've been playing for so long now that I feel like a living clock of music and what it means, but I still go by the same rule, If it moves me, I like it
