JustGotLucky
I am primarily a composer, a keyboard player and an EWI4000s player. I do accompaniment with acoustic guitar players and play in a few bands outside of my solo stuff.
Most of what is here are raw instrumental recordings with no benefit of mixing except for the Electronica. (Requiem is an exception - I put some effort into this particular mix.)
I create music I like to play and listen to.
I play all the instruments on these songs: piano, electronic horn (sax, trumpet, flute, strings), bass, organ, drums and other electronic stuff (loops, etc.).
I record with Mac OS X, Logic, and tubes.
Playing out: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Black Sabbath, Neil Young, Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash, various blues, Merle Haggard, Toby Keith, Rush, SRV, Gordon Lightfoot, Styx, Moody Blues, Deep Purple, Waylon Jennings, Tom Petty, Three Dog Night, Bealtes, The Who, Yvonne Ellerman, The Travelling Willburys, Bob Dylan, the Stones, Pink Floyd, Patty Griffin, Elizabeth Cook, Creedence, Brandi Carlile, and Buffalo Springfield...
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Started recording seriously around 2001...
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
As often as not several times a week...
Your musical influences
I listen to a lot of different music - and this is unlike most other music. I like to create things which can live on their own and which I can listen to again and again.
