Pop Rock

Original Pop and Rock songs influenced by our favorite bands. The lyrics are about lifes experiences, great places we visited and maybe one or two about a girl. Lately most of the songs I write are about true life characters of Florida. (and there is a lot of characters here!)
Band/artist history
Just an musician that got a job in computers to support his music habit. Rode that computer job far too long and finally remembered I only took that job so I could play music, write songs and still put gas in the van! I met Steve Furniss (also a computer guy) and we started talking about music and song writing and bands and girls and cars and bars and scars and that lead to playing a few songs. We wrote and recorded our first album a few years ago (I stopped counting) and it reflects a lot of the influences of the bands we loved then (and still do now).
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes, very rarely, but we are making more of an effort to play out and jam and attend "open mike" sessions on Clearwater Beach and the bars nearby.
Your musical influences
Stephen Stills, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, James Taylor, The Beatles, The Eagles. Jackson Brown, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Van Morrison, Paul Simon, Art Garfunkel, Chuck Berry, Rolling Stones, Pete Townsend, The Who, Steve Miller Band, Jim Croce, Elton John, Cat Stevens, Bob Seger, Steve Winwood, Boston, The Cars, Bonnie Raitt, John Prine, Jimmy Buffet and plenty more.
What equipment do you use?
Ovation Acoustic 6 string, Yamaha 12 string, Fender Strat, Roland Phantom piano/synth workstation, Shure Microphones, Sonar Recording software, gadgets, more knobs, more buttons, more slide levers.....
Anything else?
The internet is HUGE! Change the music industry...you bet it does. It gives everyone a chance to be heard that wants a chance. the doors that are open are endless.
