John Stallings
ohn Stallings was born in Griffin, GA. The second of 6 children, John moved to Knoxville in 1960 where he grew up in the shadow of the Smoky Mountains.
Johns love for music began at an early age My dad taught me a few basic guitar chords when I was about 10, and the rest is history. Ive always loved to sing, I believe it is the purest form of communication. There is nothing that touches the heart like a great tune, and a great lyric.
John has a passion for his craft that is rare in country music today. His warm baritone voice, captures the essence of a song and delivers it to the listener in a style reminiscent of the classic greats.
In an age of hard-hitting, boot bangin, amp cranking country music, its good to know theres still room for the country crooner and John fits the bill just perfectly.

I do play live. The John Stallings Band is getting ready for our Radio & Road Tour 2011-2012
and we are looking forward to playing live.
