I dig the beats, the rhythms and all the instruments... a really big production with lots of twists and turns. Really fun. The music is powerful to go with the lyrics of desire and passion. There is real intent in them and the vocals.

Another good one here John. A little "busy" on the bass line, for me (there's a theme here John). The melodic choices you make with the bass are good; sometimes quite excellent. BUT, I played in too many three piece rock bands, with guitar player bassists. Dusty Hill held down the bottom and stayed out of Billy's way. I guess that it is what I tend to want to hear. It's really my failing, not yours.
You have a "style", be true to that. You've (this is the "royal" you "vous", not "tu" meaning John Bowen) got to "trust" your instincts.

John I think my original comments are sound. However, regarding "The meter is a little tough for me to follow". The bass line is "busy", and during the vocal, for me at least, distracting. Overall listening now the "beat" is consistent. The bass line, while quite interesting, isn't (IMHO) "supporting" during the vocal.
But as I said on the forum "Your Song, Your Production".
If I'm producing, the bass player would be asked (instructed) to "hold down the bottom" and stop "soloing" during the verse and chorus.
But I'm not producing, nor am I playing the bass....
