My name is Joe Robins. I record tracks on guitars, bass guitars, and vocals and play them over a drum machine. I do not often write my own music, so most of what is available here are cover songs.
I started playing violin in the 90s and continued through graduation of high school. I picked up my first guitar in high school and have been playing ever since. I am a regular on my worship team at church.
Nope... I have performed hundreds of times with other musicians/groups. Almost all of this music is collections of tracks where I play different instruments and then mix them altogether. I don't actually play all of these instruments at once!
I have a HUGE list of folks that I like to listen to, but most of my musical influences are based around types of music that I grew up listening to. I have an appreciation for almost anything rock, a little country, most metal, and blues. I have 10 years of classical violin education behind me, so classical music is a major influence.
My favorite guitar is my Fender Telecaster. I also occasionally use a Jackson, a Squire, Washburn Semi-hollow body, and a couple of old Fender acoustic guitars. I use a Boss Micro BR for most of my recording and drum programming.
