Unfortunately, CORE is no MORE. It was a great run, Dietrichs treated us like kings, but its all over now.... Notwithstanding, I have a new GCP (Global Collaborative Project) called Black Sweat, which will be publishing and collaborating original music on the Web starting Jan 1st 2006. Thank you, Thank you all for all the great times and for your undying support, and we wish you the Best and Brightest of Holiday Cheer in this wonderful season, and beyond, always, forever. WE LOVE YOU ALL!!!

Played at Cee Gees last night. They had a band cancel on them, or they canceled a band, not sure which....at any rate John, Mike and I were joined onstage by Roger and Willie Mitchell, former members of Rock Creek. A great time was had by all. Core plays next at Cee Gees on Sept. 24

It's been an uneventful summer for the band, however Chris has been playing bass with the Scott Lowber Band and Mike has returned to sound tech duties w/Iris. Look for Core at Cee Gees in Edmond on September 24. Peace Out.

Saturday June 12 ---- Sweetwaters next to the Diamond Ballroom Only about 15-20 people showed up for this one, mostly friends of the owners. Kind of like playing in someones backyard, it was a beautiful night to play outside and everyone had fun. Core will play next on Saturday July 3rd at the Newcastle 4th of July celebration. Peace Out

Well, that wasn't as long of a drought as we thought it would be-we've decided to back up Irish again (one or two for the old times) at the Classic Rock Cafe this Friday May 14. The I-Man is planning on returning to his native California in August in order to enter the mature "American Idol" contest in Burbank (on an undisclosed date as of this writing). Core wishes Irish the best of luck in taking first prize. Yeah baby!

3/31/04 The band has had quite a drought for the past 3 weeks - lotsa different bands are playing the OKC club circuit, but a lot of the familiar bands are nowhere to be seen or heard. It can be summarized that Oklahoma City has many bands, but not enough clubs for all the bands to play/thrive in. This will change, of course, it always does, and that's what keeps us hanging in there. In the meanwhile, I've been stopping out to Danny's Blues Saloon to jam with all the great players that show up there on Sunday between 4-9. My good friend Scott runs a great open mic there (highly recommended) Core's next outing will be at Charlie's Last Stand Saturday March 10th
