I've been told that I remind a lot of people of Eminem. Not a bad comparison if you ask me, but it did take me some time to feel out a sound of my own, although, I can't really help the sound of my voice being somewhat similar to Eminem. But for the most part, I like to stay busy with projects and music, stay as motivated as possible and finally get some things out in the world. I always said if I could bottle up my energy and sell it, there would be no need for 5 Hour Energy shots!! Maybe this album and future works can be my way of spreading that energy.
It all started many moons ago... but seriously, I've been at it since about the age of 10, writing songs that were in no way who I was, but I wrote anyway. It was a good way to practice writing and getting some sort of flow or rhythm. I spent a lot time finding me, and I think I was able to do that. Yes, I did run with a group, however brief, and I think that helped mold me ever further.
Not yet!! Maybe some time in the future.. But I do remember the first time I stepped into a studio. It was life changing! I felt at home in a way.
Where do I start?? Tupac, Biggie, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Kurupt, Daz, Master P, Silkk the Shocker, Lil Zane, Mase, DMX, Brian McKnight, Ja Rule, Boys II Men, Xzibit, Chamillionaire, this list could go for days!! I am a massive fan of music! And as I always say, to fully appreciate something, you have to appreciate all aspects of it, that includes what was here before us and what paved the way for all future musicians.
Nothing too spectacular: Tascam LD-74 Large Diaphragm Condenser Mic and the Tascam US-122L Audio/MIDI Interface with a few sound absorbing mats. Hahahaha simple, yet effective. Just recently did an upgrade with the Tascam US 2x2 Audio/MIDI Interface, the AKAI MPD218 MIDI Pad Controller, and the all new Tascam TM-180 Large Diaphragm Condenser Microphone.
Take a listen!! Give me feedback!!! Please and thank you.
