Berry), was born on July 6, 1989 in Europe-Vicenza, Italy. She is African-American with Indian and Italian decents. Her parents, Shawn Berry-Thompson and Pastor Angelo R. Berry are both born and raised in the Washington,DC/PG County, MD areas. She is the youngest child and only girl of 3 children. In her toddler ages, JayLee NiCcol and her family moved to the United States from Italy to Landover, MD. They then relocated to Charlotte, NC. There in her early childhood ages is when she decided singing/music was her dream. Jaylee NiCcol sung within the church on the kids choir of her godfather, Pastor John P. Kee of New Life Fellowship. Her mother was a member of the Adult Choir. JayLee NiCcol attended Westerly Hills Elementary School and by the time middle school came along, her family moved to her father's home state of West Virginia, the city of Martinsburg. JayLee NiCcol attended South Middle School and Martinsburg High while there with interests and credits in the art fields of Fashion/Interior Design and also the Office Management field. She attended Destiny Baptist Church and sung on a youth choir called "U"thful Prayz". Throughout her living in West Virginia, every summer she relocated back to the DMV with relatives. From then, at age 15, JayLee NiCcol joined a studio with her godsister under the management of George and James of G & J Management- Nw Washington, DC. They would do shows at various clubs such as Club U- Turn and Island Café. In 2006, upon graduating from Martinsburg High school, she relocated back to Washington, DC and has been there ever since. JayLee NiCcol worked at various businesses in the DMV including a private school by the name of The Owl School as a teacher at age 17, to name one. In 2009, she attended National Massage Therapy Institute and graduated, becoming a Certified/Licensed Massage Therapist. JayLee NiCcol now works in a home based studio where she produces her own music

Have you performed in front of an audience?
Havent played live recently but am getting back out there soon. This time it is me only. I just started this producing thing back in April 2010 so I do everything from home.
Your musical influences
Aaliyah is a definate musical influence of mines.. she was such a beautiful person inside and out. I really can relate to her music, especially the style. Also the style of her voice. We have alot of things in common as far as demeanor and way of dress. I am a definate tomboy at heart. You may see this sweet face, but i'm hardcore like a mugg. lol Other influences of mines are Monica, Mary J. Blidge, Faith Evans, Teena Marie, Phyllis Hyman, Michelle Ferrell, Jill Scott, Anita Baker, Sade The list just goes on and on and on. My true friends and family also influence me. My CO2, that is my number one! =]
