Jamba's Memory Page
This page is dedicated to my dearest friend and brotha who disapeared last year in tragic circumstances, this is a memory of all the music we produced together at my studio when he was living near Paris
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We met at high school and I provided him guitar basics in the tradition of Ritchie Blackmore I was taught by a good personal teacher in Paris when I was a teenager,
Then we started jamming together and he moved away a few years, we neva lost contact and when he came back in France we started to create our music, with a lot of fails at the beginning and raising our skills with time going on its own way.
We have worked 6 years together and these tunes are the only ones I archived from what we've created together
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
we unfortunatly had not enough time to perform our creations in live conditions.
Your musical influences
we were influenced by punk rock, fusion, grunge blues, brazillia artists he loved, roots reggae, electro and all kind of urban music
What equipment do you use?
we had at our disposition in my studio an MPC 1K, a roland Juno-G, an e-mu command-station PX7, a korg electribe emx-1, an RME Hammerfall recording system, ableton Live and cakewalk Sonar with of course a Fender Statocaster Japan guitar, an Epiphone and a Peavey bass guitar
Anything else?
Love and laughter is all we have in this rude world, don't get desesperate because Life is a beautifull gift of God.
