Jack Ulrich
I am a solo singer/songwriter. I play 6 and 12 string acoustic guitars and harmonica and write most of my music.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Closest thing I've ever been to a "band" was when I was in the church band for 20 years. We played all kinds of Christian music including contemporary, country, bluegrass and folk. I'm a solo now doing mostly my own stuff.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have been singing in front of crowds since I was a teen in school plays. I was lead singer and band leader for 20 years in our church. I sing now at the school where I teach, church functions and open mics. Singing and playing for the Lord is always very special to me.
Your musical influences
I've always loved american folk and folk/rock music so I suppose that has been my greatest influence but I also love Jazz, R & B, classical, soul and pop so my influences are many.

I have a Martin 6 , Gibson 12 and Tackomine 12 string acoustic guitars.
