BUNKS is a hip hop group from Manchester, Tennessee that began making music in 1999.
BUNKS is a philosophy: Bringing Unmatched Noise Knowledge and Sound.
We follow our own path, stay true to our vision, and share all we can with all those who ride with us. We are artists navigating our way through the music industry, not artists made by the industry. We vow to stay true to ourselves and never to compromise our values. We vow to stay independent and to work towards improving and expanding the music scene and music industry in our community in order to provide more opportunities for our people.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Began producing and writing in 1999. Began releasing albums around 2002 and have not stopped.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes. Middle Tennessee, Sacramento and Bay Area, California and small tours through different regions.

Beastie Boys, Rakim, Outkast, Ghetto Boys, Blackalicious, Atmosphere, Nas, Rock, Metal, Blues, and any other crazy sounds we here that grab our attention
What equipment do you use?
Maschine, Fruity Loops, Cubase/Nuendo, Cool Edit Pro, several pieces of M-Audio equipment, turntables, vinyl records, random samples, guitars, bass, and keyboard...we sometimes pull out the toddler drum set and start manipulating those sounds
