My name is John Lefler AkA J'Smalls. I have always loved music Starting with some of my earliest memories. I've played Piano my entire life. Only because it was accessible. When Software became available as a way to create I immediately downloaded everything I could find. FL Studio and I just clicked. Early on I learned of midi equipment and was able to put my love for the piano into my growing interest in Musical Comp Software. Being Self taught..learning by trial and error I didn't know engineering vocals was just that..ha.. engineering. I thought it was all "Producing". Now I offer full customizations of entire projects..Musical Comp - Vocal recording and Engineering along with over-all sound processing. I've sold beats to fellow artists all over the U.S. and have helped anyone that asks for anything with in my capabilities. I've Worked with hundreds of artists and have shared the stage with my best of friends. I Love music along with the purpose it plays in my life. I'm from Sioux-City IA but recently Moved to Desmoines IA - I'm looking forward to every opportunity this change may bring my way. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've been playing the piano nearly my entire life. I created "J'Smalls Productions" when I was 15. 2003 - I've been composing, mastering/engineering and selling beats ever since. After a few years of working mainly behind the scenes I am now shooting for a new self produced EP. --- I've always wanted to create an album I didn't compose so if any other producers would like to trade beats send me an inbox with the request.
