J-Glea
Founding member of The Pushaz, long time friend of I Murder. currently working on 2010 album tenitively titled "Eyes Sewn Shut". the music is an extension of my imagination. sometimes my inner creativity breeds from dark corners and sometimes its just slightly happy. coming from the edge of Flint, MI i've lived a very interesting life from country to metropolitin life. some of my life experiences show in songs like Family tree on Broken Engagement. that record was recorded after arriving in Nevada. life is a ride and we just have to write what comes to mind. so i share my music with you those who hopefully see and enjoy what it is and what it is not. Past works such as Broken Engagement, and Fallen Heroes currently available for FREE download.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
well me and I Murder formed The Pushaz in late december 2003. it has grown to extend daddy warbucks aka dirty vs. such songs as poor tyma, underage girls, boy, murder rap, and I Murders hey ya remake titled Hey Twat have cemented the early pushaz material as experimental. current day it can still be said that experiments are happening with our music as solo artist. it is unknown when the pushaz will release a album. a early album titled "Revelationz" was made but has remained unreleased to this day harboring 3 solo cds with appearance from all members in each disc. the three cds were entitled 1-the book of I-Murder, 2-the book of Eastwood, and 3-the book of Warbizzle. this semi-scrapped project still remains unreleased and in the vault till such a time when early recordings will be released in a box set. before the pushaz there was rock tracks which will never be released in any set. to find such tracks is rare from Justin Gleason, Chuck Jackson, or as a group with Camden, And Fiend. to date the progression and creativity along with the quality in each track from Eastwood to I Murder is unmistakable as greatness rolled up into a neat little track.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
this will be a work in progress. hopefully be doing a few live shows in Nevada before moving back to Michigan. Time will tell.
