Who is Ojeda?
Ojeda was born in Cincinnati Ohio. He grew up between Avondale and Bond Hill on a street named California. He started writing and producing songs at age 13. His love of music extended to Hip-hop and Rap though he began developing his skills as an R&B songwriter. He started a few local bands and began to write and play for up & coming groups in the area. He had formal training in a orchestra band in Middle School where he played the Saxophone. He was a natural musician and decided to expand his learning of instruments taking on drums, keyboards, and guitars. What he enjoyed the most was song writing. This is what pushed him to develop full songs including the beat (Track). Using all of his musical knowledge he forged single tracks playing every instrument and sequencing the sounds from his one keyboard. One day a met two producers from California that taught him how to create tracks on an MPC and his venture into the business of music would begin. They gave him a production job and offered him room and board in South Central L.A. There he would travel to Hollywood in a studio on Sunset Blvd. new to L.A. Some of his first productions were for some local gangsters; Real OG's who wanted tracks for cash, and labels such as Def Jam working with Chris Brown's manager Tina Davis. Ojeda short on money could not afford to turn down work and started making tracks for everyone. Soon other famous production houses and labels heard about his work and came to him personally to hear his music including Roc Nations Jay Brown. As a writer he wrote with veteran songwriters Ivan Matias and Andrea Martin among others. During his journey he had the opportunity to ink a deal for his group Nadanuf on Warner Reprise, and work with just about every major, writer, executive, and record label in the game including Warner Bros, A&M, Atlantic, Elektra, Def Jam, and RCA. Ojeda eventually took a break to reevaluate his career and decided to come back to introduce himself to a whole new generation of listeners. Ojeda says "My passion for music started when I was a boy listening to my mothers old 45's and 33 LP's, but when I made my first note I knew I wanted to be songwriter and producer." With at least four top 40's songs on Billboard in the top 100 charts, and one top 11 with a bullet on the Billboard HipHop, Ojeda says he's content and blessed to have had the opportunity to do what most people only dream of. He also says that if the chance came again at working with major labels, executives, and celebrity artist he would jump at the opportunity to write and produce songs, because that's where his heart is. One day he wishes for the title "Super Producer." In addition his favorite writers and beat-makers are BF (Laface), Pharrell, Timbaland, Busta Rhymes, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Neyo, and Dr. Dre.
