We do not deserve anything God gives us, including Jesus. We cannot do anything to optain salvation and heaven. Jesus bore our sin with the Cross and I thank him for that, and give my heart to him.

Jesus gave his all for us. They beat him, plucked his beard, scarred him, but he did not lose track of his goal of giving himself up on the cross for our sins so as we could have eternal life instead of eternal hell. I praise him for this.

How many times in our lives when we have needed someone and nobody is their. Jesus says in Hebrews 13:5 that he will never forsake us. What a comforting feeling.
