Gutta Musik Ent is the name, there are several of us who do music in this family. Originated in South TX, the Rio Grande Valley, Gutta Musik is made up of Silent T, JC, Smoke, King Menace, Atrak, and Ric Ro.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Gutta Musik started out with Silent T, who before was in a group called The Line Up Click. When Silent started Gutta Musik he asked us (JCnSmoke) to join and with no hesitation we did. Along the years we have built a strong unit. The squad and family that we have come to be as Gutta Musik is one that has lyrics, production, graphics, good stage presence, and a drive and hunger for the music that we love to do like no other.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We do several shows, we have done house parties, shows at clubs, boxing events, among other major events. One of the most special moments for us would have to be when we won a competition which got us a slot to open up for Cypress Hill, that and our first boxing event, there were over 3000 people there.
What equipment do you use?
We have several set ups, for example in our studio we have a perception condensed microphone with a eurorack ub 1002 mixer.
