Majik Aka Da Eskimo (M.A.D.E) Or Majik for short (full name: Johnny Blakley) was born and raised in Charlotte, NC April 2nd 1990. First started becoming interested in the hip hop culture around the age of 6. He is best noted for his cool laid back melody claming on his song "gimmicks can't compare to me they rappers i'm an artisst" (song titled:Eskimo Flow, after the rapper name, and on his unreleased mixtape Eskimo Mixtape), and he is also noted for his world play "stretch you out like 6 or lay you down like a quater pass 9, for a couple of dollas partner getcha right like 12:45"(song titled:The wire, off his mixtape Speaking Thru Da Wire). He is quickly making his name known and presence felt in this industry at the tender age of 18. Started really becoming involved with this hip hop lifestlye at the age of 17 when he got out of jail under probabtion for a PWISD felony charge. He is really a New Entry to this industry, but his career has been progressing at a rapid pace. He put his first freestyle on myspace 12/27/08 and signed a one year Deal With B.A.M Records and Productions Company 1/08/09. Where do you plan on taking this music? "SHIT REALLY THE ONLY PLACE I HAVE TO GO IS UP, I REFUSE TO LET MYSELF FALL BACK DOWN, SO ALL THE BULLSHIT THAT PEOPLE BRING ME I JUST LEAVE IT IN THE REAR VIEW AND KEEP ON PROGRESSING". How do you believe people judge your music when they here you? "I BELIEVE THAT PEOPLE WHO LISTEN TO YOUR MUSIC, WILL JUDGE YOU BASED ON THE TYPE OF PREDICAMENT THERE IN. FOR INSTANCE A NIGGA WHO IS DOWN AND OUT WILL JUDGE YOU TOTALLY DIFFERENT FROM LETS SAY A NIGGA WHO GOT ALL THE WORLD CAN OFFER." Do you feel as if you can be a threat and meantion with the big names in this hip hop community? "ONLY TIME WILL TELL, BUT BABY I'M JUST DINING IN THIS YA HEARD ME I'M HUNGRY, I'M WILLING TO SNATCH ANYBODY PLATE. SO THESE NIGGAS BETTA WATCH OUT FOR MAJIK."
