I play Instrumentals
No "band" here. Just me.
I play what I feel at the moment.
I've just started recording some of it.
I hope you like it.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
No history. Just a guy playing the music he likes.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
The only place I play live now days is in my house. I haven't played out in years.
Your musical influences
The Ventures, Buddy Holly, Eddie Cochran, Chuck Berry, Johnny Horton, Paul Revere & The Raiders, Buddy Guy, BB King, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan
Original surf music, most blues music and early rock (rock-a-billy)
What equipment do you use?
Mainly Fender equipment.
A Fender Cyber-Twin SE amplifier, at this time. I mainly use the Twin Reverb amp in the CT SE to make custom settings I like. I also use a Boss Loop Station through the effects loop of the CT SE.
Guitars - 4 Fender Stratocasters, a Fender Jazzmaster, a Fender Jaguar and an Asian made copy of a D'Aquisto New Yorker arch top.
Anything else?
I now use a program made by General Cyber Systems, called the Cyber Commander SE, to control the Fender Cyber-Twin SE.
A VERY NICE addition for the Fender Cyber-Twin SE. It could be thought of as a "must have" for CT SE owners.
My recording is done on a Fostex MR-8 (the old, but still great, red one)
I try to make all my songs "one shot takes" - because I don't know how to do much in the way of editing a song. So, what you hear is what was played and recorded.
