Innercity Bang
"InnerCity Bang" aka Clifford King Jr. who was Born and Raised in San Antonio, Texas is a bright up and coming music artist who has plenty on the plate. Musically gifted, he writes his own lyrics, makes his own beats, records his own tracks, and sings his own tune. But what he is mostly known for is his producing abilities. He loves to keep it original hardly ever sampling songs. When asked about his production skills he replied, "Honestly I love to challenge myself everyday and see how much further I can push myself to make an even hotter instrumental. Sampling to me doesnt leave me a chance to create my own unique sound that is 100 percent me. Anyone who has followed my music can tell you I have improved from every single beat I've made to the next. Not to be cocky but i feel like I definitely have what it takes to work with and produce instrumentals for lots of known artists around the world but it really comes down to getting myself a buzz first, and thats what I plan to do from here on out." Be Sure to keep up with InnerCity Bang and watch as he continues to chase his dreams as a hip hop/rnb producer AND artist!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I have produced music since I was 6 years old. I would take the drum loops on the old casio keyboards and then play my ownnnn music along with it. Thats how I landed spots for our city talent shows. After all the years between, I caught on to creating my own sound and it began to be on a professional level.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Has performed in 2016,2017, and 2018 for the SXSW Istandard Producer Beat Battle. 2016 Producer showcase finalist. 2017 and 2018 Producer Showcase Finalist.
Your musical influences
Timbaland, Missy Elliott, Pharrell, Ne-Yo, Usher, Eminem, Travis Scott, etc.
What equipment do you use?
I use lots of different plugins and mixers and what not. I'm use Maschine and FL Studio products. Sometimes on Reason. I say, "If the beat sounds hot enough to ask what its made on, then its hot enough to not matter."
Anything else?
I have written many of my own tracks also.
