Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Inner Demons
Formed in late 2006, when a hatered filled blood feud
between J. Korn and Chuck Hillyard
(over Hillyards ex-wife)
cooled durring a crisis.
Zakkary, son of Hillyard and estranged wife Carmia,
( 12years @ the time, named after Zakk Wylde
and Randy Rhoades both Ozbourne guitarists)
now step-son of Korn
was admitted to Wolfsons Childrens Hospital in jax, florida
for Immediate hip surgery.
Durring this stressful time;
the newly married Korn and wife, were forced into an alliance
with Hillyard to better care for their son. 24 hour shifts...
& infomation needing to be exchanged between them,
gave Hillyard and Korn
a chance to become friends and heal the wounds.
They quickly realized that Hillyard, who was
former axeman of Stevie Stilleto
( Stars and Bars, stepchild, ect)
and Korn ( vocalist of bands like Loose on the World, 629
and San Diego Bands like SFG, Fast Chance, Maladiction)
Were both without bands and wanting to persue similar
" Heavy Doom Styled Metal" like BLS, Slayer, Old Sabbath,
and Corrosion of Conformity.
Within weeks of Zakks recovery, a Band was formed.
James Leopard was added on Drums...
and after Months of replacing
Bassist after Bassist
newly recoverd Zakk Hillyard at age 12
Embarrassed a bassist, 20 years his senior at practice.
After hours of failure, trying to help him learn his parts.
The dissgusted Demons left him with Zakk and Leopard
in the band room to work it out....
Zakk offered some advice- and was quickly "Dissed"...
The Bass was handed to Zakk with heavy sarcasmn-
and the Kid not only showed the Older Bassist
what he was doing wrong- but Schooled him...
by playing all eight of the bands songs,
adding licks and chatting while doing it.
The bassist took his bass back embarrassed, appologized to Zakk
and left the bandroom... INNER DEMON now had a 12year old bassist.
Two years later,
60 gigs under his belt Zakk has earned a rightfull
spot in jax, florida as a respected musician...
Both he and father are endorsees of Halo Guitars.
Recently, he and the Band recorded the newest tracks
@
Martell Studios in Kingsland Georgia,
under the production of Stan Martell
