Hii, my name is Ikari, but my full name is Latham Alex de Swardt. I come from South Africa and I rap and produce my own music.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
It was very difficult at first. I couldn't even put a very simple beat together and sometimes it shows that I have a long way to go. But I strive to become better and master my crafts.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Nooooooo not at all. I haven't been noticed as a performer yet. I am literally at the bottom of the food chain.
Your musical influences
I listen to so many different types of music it's almost silly. From genres like Amapiano, Deep House, RnB, Classic Hip-Hop, Metal, etc. The list wouldn't stop.
What equipment do you use?
I do work on my school laptop and FL12. Something about FL12 just sticks with me, I've tried using other DAW's but I will stick to my first love. I also have a microphone from Fifine that I use for recording purposes.
Anything else?
I've been having money on my mind for a while now, and I swear to God I'm gonna start making some.
