Hailed as the "Righteous Ambassador", he was recently awarded the JHMA 2008 Rising Star Award. His music message is diverse in range as it is in
the reality of the human experience. It ranges from an indictment of societal ills and misdeeds in neglecting the plight of our poor and downtrodden; senseless ghetto wars and deaths of our vital youths; to positive messages in the upliftment of women; and embracing Rastafari love and truth in livety.

Born Michael Bogle in Kingston, Jamaica on December 15, 1976, I Righteous
is no newcomer to reggae music. He is the first grandson of the "Father of
Reggae Music", the Legendary Joe Higgs. Joe Higgs helped to create
reggae music and masterfully taught this music to some of Jamaica's most
profound veteran artists including the "King of Reggae", Bob Marley & The
Wailers, Jimmy Cliff, and Peter Tosh.

reggae artist Bum Roots have been founders of music groups, notably
Nyabingi-ites and Statement.

I Righteous was attending university and studying Engineering, but music
was still calling his name. Half way through university, Righteous and his
brother, Bum Roots formed a vocal militia called Nyabingi-ites. He has
opened for artists such as: Capleton "King Shango", Sizzla, Turbulence,
Cee-Lo from Goodie Mob, G-Unit, Juvenile, Slim Thug and Young Bloodz.

I Righteous performed at Fully Loaded 2007, where Hype TV made positive
comments on a song he performed on stage and asked he repeat his
performance back stage.

Currently, I Righteous is working on his album with G.I.T. Entertainment,
Inc. and Fams House Studio. January 2008 brought the anticipated release of his powerful new single, Love Letter. I Righteous' child-focus lyrics in his new song, "Rate Di Youths" has propelled it to become the theme song for the Caribbean Education Foundation. I Righteous is primed to take reggae music to another level.
