Have you performed in front of an audience?
During the early stages of L Train Band, I subbed in for a drummer. We hired a drummer that night but he was a no show. Lucky for us I practiced by playing rock band and was complimented on my lack of skills but my balls to just do it. It was pretty bad but not the worst, I wish I had footage!!!
Your musical influences
I listen to everything except country. I grew up listening to Salsa, Merengue, Reggae, Classical and Michael Jackson. Totally Krossed Out by Kriss Kross was my first intro to Hip Hop. Now I'm just influenced by music, or just plain old sound.
