D-Phlat is a music producer and songwriter based in Mebane, NC. He is the head of Humble Minds Music production company. Born Darius Bynum, he grew up playing in church music groups, where he developed an early love for Gospel. At twelve years old, he began playing piano and drums, and found he had a natural gift for rhythm. As a producer, he mixes Gospel with R&B and Hip-Hop to create an undeniably lovable sound. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Ive been playing drums piano and guitar for 15 plus years. Ive been producing for 10. I just started this production in 2019. Looking to finally make a living off of what i love to do and what comes natural to me.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
i have been Performing in front of people since i was 5 years old.
