Homo Deprecatus means "deprecated self." In programming, when a method or function is outdated but still in use for backwards compatibility reasons, it is said to be deprecated. Mankind is in such a state. We're selfish and sinful, but God keeps us around because that's how He made us. Eventually, He will return, and we will be given new bodies. We will no longer be sinful, we will be the new, superior model of mankind.
