Heres To The Mourning consist of Josh Paquette (Guitar,Drums,Vocals) and Josh Alderman (Bass,Backup Vocals)
We got our start back in the summer of 05 with our first album The Darkness Will Follow. Over the years our music has changed dramatically from where it first began. As a band we try and keep up with today's sound but always throwing our own little twist on things. We are currently writing and recording our next cd which will be titled From Under The Ashes.
Music has always been our way of communicating with others and we hope that our listeners can relate to our music in such a way that it pushes us forward to continue to do what we do best.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We started as a punk band called 2 Days From Yesterday(c) We somewhere down the road realized there was a higher calling. The music we were making didnt feel right so we sat in a room one day and wrote about 5 songs and had an epiphany.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We havent played in sometime now. We are hoping once we wrap up the cd we are currently working on, we will most likely play local places. We want to start by taking small steps.
