In the mid seventies a heavy metal band in Country Club Hills IL existed for a couple years. This south suburb of Chicago with such a stupid name was home to the teens of working class parents and we all loved heavy metal. So it was pretty natural that we'd gravitate to this genre.... and face it - the stuff is easy to play!
We did, however, play in other genre's as well.
We never had good eqiupment. Vocals were mainly run through the bass amp and the singer could hardly, if at all, hear himself. That makes for an interesting experience in microtonality at times.
The main line up
Chris guitar and vocals
Frank bass and rarely vocals
Moshen drums and incredibile thoughts
And Mike Barry on occasion - keys and vocalsHave you performed in front of an audience?Yes we played live for girls, beer, and smoke. We loved it.
Your musical influences
Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Free, Grand Funk Railroad, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Mahavishnu OrchestraWhat equipment do you use?
utter crap - second hand stuff. We we 15, 16, 17 and had no money. we were sponging off our parents.
