I had started playing toy keyboards ever since my father bought me a casio Pt-30 when I was about 12 years old. My first synth was a Technics KN series board, that had a 8 track sequencer and about 50 voices. Along the years I bought a Korg i3, which was a step forward. Then for about a decade, my music creation was put on hold for no reason at all. Then, I bought a Yamha Motif XS6. Which opened up a whole new world to me. Like the slogan of the XS says" It's a total inspiration". The quality of sound and the control over the voices is so realistic now, that even a well trained ear can't recognize a synth voice from a real instrument. In the last three months I have made more serious music that I ever made all my life and I am still on top of it. I have been sending and posting my music on the official Motif forums and getting pretty decent reviews. Right now I am experimenting with genres.I am not sure which is mine but I am told that my talent is to make movie soundtracks. For the record I am a self taught musician. I have read a lot of books on music theory and somewhat recognize the sheet music as well but I have never took any formal music lessons. Well, give my songs a listen and let me know what you think. Your comments will always be appreciated.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I don't play live. I mean I can't. I record into my sequencer and after a zillion attempts, I get to make a single track.
Your musical influences
Giorgio Moroder, Jarre, and Biddu.
What equipment do you use?
Yamaha Motif XS6, Korg i3, Qbase, Wavelab and a Usb memory stick.
