Hall Dead Official Biography
Origin: Switzerland
Founded: October 8, 1990s
Genre: Dark Metal / Horror Rock / Heavy Metal
Debut Album: King of the Hall (9. October 2025)
Born from the underground of Switzerland in the late 1990s, Hall Dead began as a dark vision a band unafraid to confront themes of faith, death, and madness. Founded on October 8, they combined the heaviness of classic 90s Metal with the haunting textures of Dark Rock and Gothic atmospheres.
Over the decades, Hall Dead recorded numerous albums, EPs, demos, and singles, pouring every resource into their music. Yet record labels turned them away, calling them the worst band in Switzerland. They spent everything on studio sessions, until even bankruptcy shadowed their dreams. No club, no bar, no festival wanted them on stage.
But Hall Dead refused to die.
For 35 years, they carried their sound through silence, rejection, and darkness until 2025, when their long-awaited debut, King of the Hall, finally emerges. Its more than an album: its the proof that persistence outlives failure.
Even when they considered ending it all, one thought remained: If no one lets us play, we will still be heard.
Now, after decades of struggle, Hall Dead stands as a monument to resilience the voice of those who never stopped screaming into the void.

Former Members What Happened
Reto Schmid Rhythm Guitar (1992 2001, 2008 RIP)
Reto was one of the creative pillars of Hall Dead in its early years. His raw guitar tone and stage presence shaped the bands first demos and underground performances.
After leaving the band in 2001 due to health and personal struggles, Reto sadly passed away in 2008. His influence still echoes in the bands sound, and every live show is dedicated to his memory.
Adrian Voss Bass (Founding Member, until 1996)
Adrian was a founding member and helped define Hall Deads earliest direction. After several years of creative disagreements and burnout from the underground scene, he decided to leave in 1996.
Though he left the spotlight, Adrian remains a close friend of the band and occasionally contributes ideas and old recordings from the early days.
