HOURGLASS PRISONERS is a Symphonic Black Metal band from Kolkata,INDIA.Formed in July 2008 the band has been performing in various college fests and competitions in & around Kolkata!!

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The band primarily started with Tirthabrata,Sam,Sayantan,Debmalya,Ayanangshu,Rahul!!In the course of time Sayantan and Rahul left due to personal commitments & were later replaced by Debojyoti and Arnab!!Soumyabrata later joined them to pen down the originals for the band!!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
The band has been playing in college fests & competitions!!the most memorable experience being the first live onstage performance at CMC,kolkata!!

Arcturus,Blind Gurdian,Carcass,Children of bodom,Cradle of Filth,Dimmu Borgir,Emperor,Enslaved,Gorgoroth,Graveworm,Hecate Enthroned,Immortal,Mayhem and loads of other bands!!

ESP,Samick,Java guitars,Korg,Stranger & Digitech units,Fender basses,Mapex,Remo skins,& a bit of dark musical ideas!!
